We put down our deposit.....

So Saturday we put down our deposit with a company who does beach weddings in the Myrtle Beach area. They will provide decorations, chairs, officiant, music, and all sort of other things. This company is ran by a wife and husband and I have done a lot of research and can't wait to have them perform our ceremony. It's called Myrtle Beach occasions click here to see more....

Still in the process of filling out the addresses and getting the stamps hoping to put them in the mail sometime this week or next. So exciting. Makes it a little more real for me!!! =)

Save the Dates have ARRIVED!!

So very excited that my save the dates arrived in the mail today. They are so cute! I can't wait to send them out to people. So now the work begins of addressing and stamping. I will put up a picture of one of them soon! =)

Celebration---May 18th 2013

We will be getting married on the beach in Myrtle Beach, SC on April 5th and have decided to have our celebration party on our original wedding date 5/18/2013. We want to have this outside kinda laid back just people celebrating and having a good time. April is such a risky month with weather cold or rainy and of course Thunder. So we stuck with our original date knowing we already told most this was when we originally were going to get married. We will be inviting friends and family who unfortunately will not get to come see us get married including our grandparents. Although everyone will be there in spirit!! =) It will be a beach theme outside probably on Jesse's mom's property. I will have our wedding pictures back by then and a video of us getting married also. So we will be able to share with everyone. I'm so excited for all of this to happen and especially to be Jesse's wife. This is just the beginning for us of many years of happiness and joy. Lets get this year done and bring on 2013 it's going to be one I will never forget =]

Save the Dates Purchased-----CHECK!!!

So I purchased our Save the Dates today or for short most wedding sites call them STD which is really weird since that use to mean sexual diseases but any who.....Really excited that I finally purchased them and should be getting them in 6-9 days and then it will be time for the work. Yep getting everyone's address I still need and getting them address and MAILED. Thank goodness my mom works at a Post Office will make it a little easier. I really went back and forth on getting the magnet one's but decided against it. Although I really like the design and i'm very excited to give these out to our family and friends. Even if they won't be able to make it I still want them to be a part of it. So here in several weeks look for you STD in the mail! lol! =)

Trying to figure this destination wedding stuff out....

So I have been trying to figure all this destination wedding stuff out. I have been working on save the dates so that we can give people plenty of notice of our plans. I know most people will not be able to go but I figure I would let people know that we aren't having the wedding in KY anymore. Its really hard because I'm trying to figure out who to send these to. So I know everyone who would be invited but I don't want to send people invites to the wedding knowing they can't come and acting like i just want a gift. I really don't want people to think I just want a gift. So still trying to figure this all out.

Then we have invites for the celebration cook out we are going to have on our orginal wedding date 5/18/2013. I can't belive in a couple days it will be 8 months till we get married. I'm so ready to marry the man of my dreams and then we can start planning the family we both have always wanted so!!!
