Happy Retirement to my Momma!!!

After 31 years of working for the United Postal Service my momma Amy Jo Miller is retiring. I'm very proud of her. She has showed me that working and providing for your family is important. That you can still be a great mom, wife, sister, daughter, etc. even though you have to work. She is the reason why I am the person I am today. I inspire to be just like her as mom. She worked to very hard to make sure people had their mail. She drove through horrible snow and ice storms to do this. The mail doesn't stop unless it's a holiday. She went from being a carrier walking mail in LaGrange while pregnant with me as a baby, to clerking at Crestwood, to clerking at the Goshen Post Office since I can remember. She has people come in who ask for her because they know she listens, cares, and does a great job. I like to show her how much she means not only to me but to Jesse. He always has said that he just loved my mom. She is just one of the nicest people he has ever met. I can't wait for her to enjoy her retirement and enjoy life. It's an amazing accomplishment and she deserves all the recognition and happiness in the world.

Just keeping checking stuff of my list

This week has been a very productive one. I received my wedding hair clip for my hair, my bridesmaids gifts, and of course flower girl dresses and bows. I ordered my bridal jewelry, a sign for the boys to walk down the isles, and what are guest are going to sign at the wedding. Getting my bridal shower and bachorette party list ready. We still have so much to do! We have a little over a week until our two month mark which I will be getting my dress altered and busseled. I'm working on our programs and then we are having a invitation party with some amazing girls and get those ready to send out!! Feel like I still have so much to do. Hoping it will all come together and be the best day ever!!!

We finally got some bridesmaid dresses after hours of searching and well let's just say a very funny adventure! lol! Love my bridesmaids!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our niece and flower girl Ms. Jules Prince. Jules is such a fun loving sweet little girl. Uncle Jesse and Aunt Nenna hope all your dreams and wishes come true.

Invitations Purchased----CHECK!

So I designed and finished the invitations to the wedding earlier this week. I used the same kinda theme as our save the dates and ordered them this morning. Since we are having a destination wedding I used a standard wedding invite for the wedding with details of our at home reception on the back. With an RSVP card to the reception at home only. I'm so excited. It makes it so real that we are really getting married. Its crazy it will be here before we know it and man am i ready!!!

I also made my alteration appointment for my wedding dress the first week of February and that's the latest the girl said I could do it!! Ahhh....it's really getting here. I'm just going to try and enjoy the wedding planning as much as I can and remember it. Ahh....I'm so excited!!!

Happy Birthday....

Happy Birthday to our ring bearer Logan who is 6 yrs. old today. Can't believe he's already that old! Logan came into this world smiling and happy. I don't think till this day he has a picture that he's not smiling. He brings so much happiness to a room it's just amazing to see what a great young man he is. I hope all your dreams come true Logan and that you know Aunt Nenna and Uncle Jesse love you so.

Happy Birthday to Jesse dad Willie Thiel who gets to spend his birthday in heaven. A man who is truly missed by all his family and friends. I never got the chance to really meet Willie. I have heard some pretty funny stuff about the man who I would of called my father in law. I know he had to be a pretty amazing because he has 3 beautiful children and 3 adorable grand kids. I love to hear stories about him and know Jesse misses him so much everyday.

Flower Girl Dresses...purchased and Adorable

I purchased the flower girl dresses as their gift from Jesse and I. They are so stinkin adorable. The ribbon will say Adalyn and Jules. I can't wait to see these beautiful girls in their adorable dresses.

3 Months Until I DO!!

It's really getting closer and closer. Today we are at the 3 month mark. I have been working on the invitations and made a master list of what I need to get done. We have come up with dates for my wedding shower and bachelorette party that's I'm so excited for!! I have sent in my details to the people taking care of our ceremony. I will be confirming appointments with my hair stylist/ make up and our photographer. I will also be trying to get the flower girl dresses in order and what they will carry and the ring bearers. Things just keep rolling right along. I will be glad when it's here and I can enjoy it.

I had a dream the other night that had my Pa(grandfather who just passed) in it. Funny thing is I think we were getting ready to go to the beach and he was going with all of us. He came to the window when we were stopped at a gas station almost there and he keep saying how excited he was that he was going to the beach. I like to think that it was him telling me he will be right there with me on the beach when I get married.
