So a BEACH WEDDING it is!!!!

Just figured I would update everyone. So I told everyone on my FB the other day we have changed our wedding to a beach wedding. Told you we were going to throw everyone for a loop. So anyways we had always talked about getting married at the beach when we first got engaged. We figured nahh we would just do what everyone else does and have it here. So as most know I went to the beach last week and when I was sitting there I just knew in my heart (just like when I pulled into our driveway of our now house) that this is what we should do. I called Jesse and immediatly he agreed that he would love to do this also. He's actually very excited for the wedding now. I know it creates issues for people to come and see us get married there. We both understand that many people will not be able to make it and that is why we have decided to have a celebration when we get back. This is a way we can celebrate with our grandparents who can't make the long travel to the beach and our close friends who can't make it. If anyone knows the two of us we really don't like to be the center of the attention and well a more intimate wedding ceremony with where we love to be at just sounds like us. I know some people probably think we are selfish for doing this but one thing I have figured out about this wedding stuff is you have to do what you want. My ultimate dream wedding is the wedding I'm going to have now. I'm very excited for this. I'm going to keep everyone updated as much as I can. We have already made reservation we will be getting married April 5th, 2013 sometime in the evening. We will be going to a dinner with our loved ones afterwards. We are planning on staying a couples days later and then coming home to celebrate with everyone. We still plan on attending our orginal honeymoon in FL. I have waited so long to find the man I always wanted to marry and I have found him and we want to celebrate our marriage with a place we truly love.

Change of colors.....

One of the greatest things about having my wedding almost 10 months away now (yay!) is that I can tweek and change things as I choose. Which I have. My colors orginally were like a plum magenta purple and green. So after doing some hard thinking and realizing that I don't want such a formal wedding. That we are going to be doing a informal wedding to change my colors. The new colors are Khaki, white, and a little pink. If anyone knows me my favorite color is pink. Jesse said I could do pink but then again I though no I won't make them wear pink. So then I got the great idea of them wearing khaki and white. So then I got to thinking if I really could have my favorite color it would pink not purple. So I haven't totally decided if I will make the bridesmaids wear pink or khaki also. Here's a picture of what I'm thinking. My theme to my wedding I want is romantic and rustic with candles glowing and all.

The bridesmaids are wearing pink dresses here.

The bridesmaids are wearing khaki here.
The groom and his men are wearing blue her but they are goign to be wearing white shirts instead of blue but no vest or coat.

*Keep in mind our bridal party is not that big at all. We decided on two on each side.

July 1st 2012 Officially 2 yrs. together.....

Officially yesterday Jesse and I had been together for 2 yrs. I can't belive it's already been 2yrs. it really doesn't seem like that long ago. We have come such a long way since then. After texting me and calling me and asking to go out to dinner I finally agreed to meet up with him. I wasn't really in to starting a new relationship just after what I had been through. So I decided we could be "friends" and after my family pretty much begging me to just meet up with him I finally did. I agreed to meet him at Sonic because we both loved the Limeaids they have. So we sat outside and talked drinking our drinks. I was super nervous and I could kinda tell he was too. I think we were there till well dark. After that I started talking to him on the phone more and now here we are moved into our home and engaged to get married. Sometimes you don't meet your true love like they do in the movies. I think that how you know it's real. I put that picture up of us above because it explains us perfectly. We are both goofy and make eachother laugh constantly. Jesse has so many wonderful qualitities one that i love the most is that he loves me for me. Messy hair, ugly clothes, and just plain hot mess not matter what. He will tell me "why you so pretty?" I have always had low self esteem and when he says that I almost believe him. He really is a one of kind person who pretty much will do whatever I want him to do. Even take a picture with spongebob for our nephews/godsons. The crazy thing is I think I will just continue to love him more and more. Jesse is wonderful with kids and a person like me who have always been around kids and absoutely adores them its great. So I can't wait to see how great and wonderful of dad I know he will be. I think the smartest thing to do when in your in a relationship is even though it's really hard is to take things slow. If you rush and rush things you don't get to enjoy the little moments and there's no way you know the true other person. Everyone keeps liking this post on FB that says I want my first marriage to be my last...i think why even say that...it should. Why would you have to like that to know that it will be. Just makes me wonder if they really know what there doing. I wouldn't of said Yes to getting married if I didn't think that Jesse was my soul mate in every way and this is who I am going to be with the rest of my life.
